 It will take me awhile to tell you what works and what doesn't from this book.
 Lets follow tip number one before you start buying domain names.

Make sure you are allowed to advertise your idea.
I cant tell you the amount of people I have spoken to who start buying domain names and start advertising on Google Adsense and find out they are restricted from advertising certain things.

Just because other competitors have ads running doesnt mean it is still allowed, it just means Google hasnt caught up to them yet.

Make sure you read through websites by checking the type of business of what you are doing + the word scam so for example:

Walmart cards + scam

Look at the rip off reports etc..

Make sure yor idea is not saturated.
You can get an idea of keyword pricing for your niche is not too high or it can cost you an arm and a leg to advertise your idea on Adsense. You want your keyword pricing to be .38- 1.75 CPC for a good range of visitorship.  Otherwise you can be paying through the nose for clicks.
